Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing

As executive vice president, sales and marketing Robert "Bob" Sullivan is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of Cablevision's sales efforts, directed at consumer and small/medium-sized business customers across the Optimum television, high-speed Internet and voice products. In this role, Mr. Sullivan is also responsible for the execution of the company's brand and marketing strategies supporting the company's full suite of advanced digital Optimum-branded products and services.

Mr. Sullivan's leadership has helped Cablevision achieve industry-leading penetrations across its entire suite of digital products, and to continue to attract and retain customers in the most competitive market for communications services in the country, the New York metropolitan area. He is an expert in competitive sales tactics and communicating value to existing and potential customers, as well as in customer retention.

A 31-year company veteran, Mr. Sullivan joined Cablevision in 1982 as a door-to-door sales representative. In 1984, he joined the company's advertising sales division, which later became Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO) and is today known as Cablevision Media Sales Corporation, as an account executive. He went on to hold various management positions, including Executive Vice President. He returned to Cablevision in 2001 as the company's Senior Vice President of Consumer Sales, and later added responsibility for the small/medium-sized business market with the launch of Optimum Business voice and high-speed Internet products.

Mr. Sullivan received his bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Wesleyan University.
