IFC Film School Curriculum
IFC Film School Curriculum is a FREE public service initiative that uses the excitement of filmmaking to engage high school students in their English classes. Developed to meet the standards of the National Council of Teachers of English, the International Reading Association, as well as the National Education Technology Standards from ISTE, IFC Film School Curriculum provides the tools to get students energized about classroom activities while simultaneously accomplishing core educational goals. WE Empowers Women is a public affairs initiative. The focus for 2007 and 2008 isits WE Vote '08 campaign.
Using the power of ideas and the actions of many, WE Empowers Women is dedicated to creating projects and programs that foster and celebrate the intelligence, strength, confidence, diversity and leadership of women.
To that end, the initiative's focus for 2007 and 2008 is its WE Vote '08 campaign. WE Vote '08 is dedicated to empowering 1 million women in 1 year to register to vote, to educate women on issues of importance, and to galvanize them to get to the polls in November 2008 leading up to the National Presidential election.
